About Us!
Youth With A Mission (YWAM) New Orleans is a non-profit organization and a satellite ministry location of YWAM Tyler, TX. We were established in 1982 by a group of young missionaries who came to do Mardi Gras Outreach and never left!

God loves people and over 60% of the world’s population lives in cities like New Orleans. With a metro population of 1.2 million and over 9 million tourists coming through each year, we believe New Orleans is a “port” being used by God to take in the lost, lead them to Jesus, and then send them out to infect the world with Christ’s love!
Our Ministries
It is our privilege to reach the New Orleans area through many forms of evangelism. We are actively going out into our city doing street evangelism, working with the homeless, preaching at the local detention center, and holding a weekly kids club at one of the housing projects near us. We also host a plethora of mission teams throughout the year who help us achieve our mission of being a Jesus experience to the people of this city.
Here at YWAM New Orleans we value life! That’s why in 1983, just one year after we were established, we opened up a pregnancy center where we offer free pregnancy counseling, testing, and ultrasounds as well as providing supplies and sometimes adoptions to mothers.
